Philip Fogelman
As Founder and Executive of PSF Boston & Associates, Phil Fogelman is dedicated to supporting schools and the workplace with models of respect that foster safe and inclusive learning and working environments. With more than 20 years of experience in education program development, most notably as Education Director of the Anti-Defamation League’s New England Region and its A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute, Phil has engaged tens of thousands of students, parents, educators, and corporate and non-profit professionals in facilitating positive social change through a shared commitment to respectful values and practices.


Gwen Blackburn
Gwen Blackburn has been an educator for more than 32 years, during which time she served as the Director of Multi-Culture for Medford Public Schools, assuming the responsibilities of Civil Rights Officer, Title IX Coordinator and Harassment Liaison. In these capacities, Gwen updated and monitored district compliance with state and federal rules and regulations, and investigated civil rights charges as well as harassment and sexual harassment claims. Additionally, Gwen developed and supervised district-wide implementation of multi-cultural curriculum for Grades K-6; collaborated on the development of multi-cultural curriculum guides for Grades 7 – 12; developed and coordinated services for all K – 12 English language learners; and served as a liaison between the school system and the community’s historically underrepresented populations.


Barbara Holland
For over 25 years Barbara G. Holland has been working with schools and businesses in a proactive manner on inclusion, diversity, and equity to effect change, including her role as the first Director of Diversity at Massachusetts General Hospital. As the Founder and President of BGH Enterprises, Ms. Holland provides consulting services to educational institutions, healthcare systems, regional banks, Fortune 500 corporations, community organizations and city governments.


Doug Cureton
Beginning his career in education as a K-12 music teacher, Doug Cureton transitioned to higher education as Associate Director of Training and Services for the Rhode Island College Campus Center, and later served as the National Director of Training for the Anti-Defamation League’s A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute. Doug then founded the consulting firm CreativiTEAM Inc. and has since been designing and delivering leadership, diversity, and anti-bias education training programs to schools, community organizations; major Fortune 500 corporations such as DuPont, AT&T, the American Red Cross; and law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, the DEA and the CIA. Doug is also a co-author of the book, Let Your Leadership Speak – How to Lead and Be Heard.


Shirley Mayo
Since 1955, Shirley Mayo has worked as an educator and training specialist, having served as a middle school principal in Harlem, New York and education coordinator for A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE® Institute, New England Region. As an independent training consultant, Ms. Mayo delivers training programs to schools, businesses, and law enforcement agencies, and has been the recipient of awards from the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives (NOBLE) and the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women, Inc.


Paula Parnagian
Paula Parnagian began her career in education as a junior and senior high math teacher. After transitioning to the corporate sector, Paula served as Director for International Customer Services and Senior Manager for International Support at an international software corporation. Paula later founded World View Services, a management training, consulting, and presentation services company that specializes in diversity management and organizational effectiveness. With 25 years of experience in these areas, as well as in international operations management, Ms. Parnagian has been providing consulting and training services to schools and national and international companies, including American Express, Honeywell and Cummins Engine.


Ashok Panikkar
Ashok Panikkar is a seasoned professional with many years of international business experience in the United States, India, the Middle East, and Africa. During this time, Mr. Panikkar has developed and delivered workshops in innovation training and analytical thinking; diversity and cross-cultural training; mediation and conflict resolution; inter-personal communication skills; and leadership development.


Alison Reiser
Alison Reiser has more than 14 years of experience as an organizational learning consultant for businesses, schools and other non-profit institutions. Alison’s areas of expertise include leadership and managerial development; diversity education and management; anti-sexual harassment training; recruitment and interviewing; and customer service. Additionally, Alison specializes in large-scale corporate initiatives on organizational and communication development.



Rob Jones
Rob Jones has more than 15 years of experience in various industry and educational settings, including IT management at a high-tech corporation and educational project management for a national social justice organization. Mr. Jones has provided consulting and training for clients such as Mobil Oil Corporation, Providence Energy Corp, Fleet Bank and numerous elementary, secondary and post-secondary schools. An innovator and entrepreneur, Rob specializes in diversity and inclusion initiatives, anti-bias and anti-harassment education and training, leadership development, teambuilding, cross-cultural communication, strategic planning, and executive coaching.


IN MEMORIAM


Loel Greene
Loel Greene was a Senior Equity Coordinator with the Equity Assistance Center at Brown University and also directed his employment consulting firm, L. Greene and Associates.

Loel worked extensively in both the educational field and corporate sector. As an educator, Loel had taught elementary, middle and high school students and served as a certified counselor and school administrator. As former Assistant Vice President of Affirmative Action and Employee Relations at the Boston Safe Deposit and Trust Company, he directed all corporate training programs including supervisor, manager and executive training.

Loel had conducted training programs in thirty-seven states and Europe on the development and implementation of policies to support equal education and employment opportunity and create more welcoming learning and work environments. He wrote frequently on the topic of sexual harassment in education and employment, and many of his articles have appeared in the National Organization on Legal Problems in Education Journal.
